To take into account the DPI settings, call the WindowsFormsSettings.LoadApplicationSettings method before the Splash Screen is displayed (for example, in the Splash Screen’s constructor). However, if you show a Splash Screen before the main form, these settings are not applied automatically.
In previous versions, if you use a DevExpress form as the main application form, the DPI settings are applied automatically. In v20.2+, Splash Screens are automatically scaled according to the current DPI settings (see Project Settings) when shown on application startup. Now go to properties of the imagelist and using property collection add images which you want to animate.
To see an example of this, just fire up Visual Studio 2010. Drag a ImageList and Timer control on form. A splash screen is a window that displays copyright information while your application initializes itself. In automatic mode, you can access and customize settings of splash screens from the properties provided by the SplashScreenManager component. It uses the objects DrawImage method to display the next image on the form.
